I'm not too sure how to start this off, but I haven't really felt myself lately. It's like my mind a shaken can of Coke, ready to burst and let everything it's got bottled up inside of it, out. Well, that's how I feel right now. Like I have so much I want to say, fizzing up inside of me, but don't have the confidence to say it out loud.
When I was little, I attempted to write a journal (the word "diary" to me just doesn't sound right). I haven't ever been the best at writing, and still to this day it's hard for me to put my thoughts into words. Most of the time, one of my entries ended up something like this:
COlab Dry Shampoo, I'd thought I would take the plunge a little deeper and review another product that has been a staple of mine. And this time it's a Soap & Glory beaut!

Thanks so much for all of your lovely comments about my pics from Gull Lake- I'm glad you love the beauty of it as much as I do.
This week's post is really difficult to write because it's about something that has been a part of my entire life- whether I knew about it at the time, or not. When I first started this blog, I said I was always going to be completely honest here, even if only a few of your follow me on bloglovin. Although the thought of opening up to you is terrifying, I reckon it might make me feel better, so here goes.
Sometimes, your mind can feel like it's spinning one thousand times faster, and you forget to breathe. It's good to take some time away from it all. Even if that's just for 2 days. As you may not know, Gull Lake is one of those places where I feel completely relaxed, as I have so many childhood memories from there. My family and I go camping here every year, as the water is super clear and shallow almost all the way out. I honestly spent the whole morning (6 am to 11 am!!) wading around from one end of the lake to the other, letting the sound of seagulls, crisp morning air, and low tides wash away my stresses.
As of tomorrow, I'll be camping by the beach!
I feel like I've been patiently anticipating this road trip, and couldn't be more excited to relax in the sun. For as long as I can remember, camping has been an annual thing in my family, and it's now definitely something I'm grateful to be able to do. There's just something about the coolness of the waves, and coziness of the open flames, that makes it so perfect.
So here are my top 10 beach beauty products that I think are necessities for times out like this!
I've decided to do a really light-hearted post today about some of things that make me the happiest in life. I feel like sometimes I can get so caught up in errands and deadlines, that I forget about the little things and how good they make me feel.
When was the last time you pasued for a minute, looked up, and just was grateful for the things around you?
MARSHMALLOW SKIES BLOG.
As I'm a lifestyle blogger, I don't do beauty-type posts all that often. But when I do, it's on a product I 100% love. (Click HERE to see my other beauty related posts) Dry shampoo is my best friend- I'm not going to lie to you there. Since summer is officially here, I'll be reaching for this product more than anything, as I don't want to feel weighed down by my hair.
Thanks so much for all of your lovely comments on my post A Memory From Scent- I love seeing you guys comment about the scents that remind you of your past.
As you may or may not know, I feel like I am the clumsiest person ever. I'm the kind of girl who says sorry to lamp posts if I run into them (anybody else?!) or gets thrown halfway across the hallway in front of everyone. <<< you might want to read this, haha.
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you've probably read my 25 Facts About Me post! Being a lifestyle blogger, my initial goal is to share my life and my thoughts with you guys, whether that be through tips I've learned or though stories about my embarrassing moments.
I love incorporating my memories from when I was little into my posts as I feel it gives my blog that little personal touch.
After a long and rainy month, I can now officially say happy summer! And I hope that where ever you are in the world, that you're going to have a great one.
It's that time of the year to discard our study notes, and welcome the sunny rays with open arms (and quite literally, too). I feel like in our everyday lives, our mindset is always go-go-go, never really coming to a complete stop. Even when we unwind; take a steamy bubble bath, read a novel, do a hobby, go online, we are still doing something. It might not seem that way, but we are.
And that makes me feel so happy.
And that, actually, even though I sometimes feel as if I'm the only person who has friend "complications", I'm not. And it's totally okay to lose friends who you used to be close with. So, I just want to say thank you for being so honest with me- I'm very grateful to have all of you :)
All of your lovely comments on my previous post Finding Balance are seriously making me smile- you have no idea how meaningful each one is to me. The little things you write are always uplifting and positive, which is the main reason I write this blog. To spread positivity.
This tag was created by the ever-so-gorgeous Rachel from her blog, Dream Create Do. The #DREAM BIGGER LIST PROJECT is based around themed questions that intentionally motivate and inspire you to become a better you, one question at a time. (Plus, I'm in love with the things she writes, as they send such bright and optimistic vibes. So definitely check her out!)
I'm sure we've all spent a ridiculous amount of money on body and facial scrubs at some point. There have been scrubs that made my skin bright red and irritated, leaving me itching all over the place, as well as ones that smooth out your skin so nicely, you don't need to apply cream on afterwards. The only downfall is that every product that has benefited my skin, has been either pricey or hard to get a hold of.
This is a recent discovery for me, and coffee grounds are my life savers.
"the harder you work for something, the greater you'll feel when you achieve it"
With summer just around the corner, it can be difficult, not to mention frustrating, to stay motivated. I know I've been struggling to keep my head in the game, as I can feel myself slacking off at any opportunity. Who wants to spend a beautiful, sunny day locked indoors, because you didn't accomplish what you wanted to do the day before? So, I'm going to quit idling around on Twitter, and pull myself back on my feet.
Wow you all are amazing. I've just been reading your comments on my last post 4 Ways To Wake Up Happy, and they're making me so glad to hear that my tips are helping you out! That aside, I wanted to chat about my little incident that happened at school the other day.
Now, I'm not normally the one to get embarrassed.
